New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s daughter told a reporter that she was overjoyed by the female “president” Kamala Harris and marveled that Joe Biden was “able to steal” the election — before quickly walking her remarks back.
“For me, it’s really special because now we have the first black, Asian, female president in office, elected,” Chiara de Blasio said Wednesday, referring to Biden’s running mate Harris.
“And Joe Biden was able to STEAL — steal? No, uh, able to win – sorry -“
The reporter asked: “Say that again?”
“No, he was able to win the election,” she said.
De Blasio made the remarks during a leftist celebration in the streets after the mainstream media called the election for Biden as states are still being counted.
Over the summer de Blasio had made headlines after she was arrested for participating in the violent Black Lives Matter riots.
